Title:  Project Manager (Project Manager (Airfield Civil Works)

As part of our project management team representing our client, you will be involved in the management and development of the future Terminal 5 building and its associated facilities. You will be based at the Changi East Project Office, the site of the future Terminal 5 building.

As a Project Manager (Airfield Civil Works), you will oversee and deliver complex airfield infrastructure projects across the full project lifecycle—from project inception and feasibility studies to procurement, design development, construction, and final handover. In this role, you will work closely with a wide network of stakeholders, managing design consultants, contractors, internal teams, and external agencies to ensure project objectives are met.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing the full spectrum of project activities, including feasibility and engineering studies, development of project briefs, and review of technical standards.
• Reviewing design and technical submissions from consultants and contractors.
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders and government agencies on project requirements, approvals, and interfaces.
• Managing contractors during the construction of airfield and related works.
• Ensuring that all project deliverables meet the required standards of time, cost, safety, and quality.
• Navigating the challenges of delivering works within an operational airport environment.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 6 years of experience supporting large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong interest in managing airport development projects within a fast-paced and operationally demanding environment.
• Ability to multi-task effectively and thrive under pressure.
• Customer-focused mindset and willingness to be hands-on with field work.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented.
• A strong team player with demonstrated leadership skills.
• Able to work independently to deliver results and have good project management skills.
• It is an added advantage experienced in design and/or implementation of pavement works.

This position is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
