As part of our project management team representing our client, you will be involved in the management and development of the future Terminal 5 building and its associated facilities. You will be based at the Changi East Project Office, the site of the future Terminal 5 building.

 

Project manage the design and development of IT systems for Changi East projects including identification, evaluation, and recommendation of IT solutions for implementation. You will be involved from planning, design, implementation, testing, commissioning and handover of the IT systems to operations. You will have to work closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders as well as industry partners to ensure that all requirements are captured and implemented on time, within budget and within scope of the highest quality.

 

Key Job Scope & Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of airport operations and the eco-system at Changi Airport, encompassing its intricacies, the key stakeholders, the systems that support airport operations.
  • Manage project scope, resources, timelines, cost, risks, monitor progress and provide regular updates and documentations at different forums. Ensures that all interfaces/ program workstreams dependencies are deconflict.
  • Manage and coordinate integration between multiple systems/ interfaces to ensure that projects meet user requirement and scope
  • Manage and coordinate between multiple stakeholders to develop concept of operations and capture requirements
  • Ensures project issues are identified, resolved and ensure that the projects stay on track. 
  • Work closely and communicate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are captured and implemented on time, within budget and within scope of the highest quality.
  • Work with the appointed contractors/ consultants, technology partners & other CAG stakeholders to strategize, develop, manage development, deployment, operation support & maintenance of airport IT initiatives; and to ensure delivered solutions meet technical, functional, security, performance, and business requirements.
  • Establish respective key performance indicators (KPIs) & work with internal technical teams and appointed contractors/ consultants to track & monitor them accordingly.
  • Perform proper project and operation management to ensure delivered solutions meet technical, functional, performance and business requirements.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and industry, be in the know about latest industry developments and be able to articulate potential impact to CAG and what actions we should take.

 

Skills & Qualification:

  • Accredited degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent​.
  • Minimum 6 - 8 years working experience in the IT industry encompassing software development, solution architecture and project management in large-scale IT infrastructure projects, systems projects or equivalent.  Experience working with an airport operator, airline, ground handling agent, or industry solution provider would be favourably considered.
  • Proven track record, experience and extensive knowledge of project and construction management for major, complex aviation or similar scale and complexity project or equivalent
  • Good team player and able to handle fast paced projects
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity knowledge and IT compliance audit
  • Strong IT solution architecture experience and equip with strong IT technical expertise.
  • Possess thorough knowledge in software application, database, networking, enterprise service bus and server infrastructure design and best practices would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in modeling languages, including but not limited to ArchiMate, UML, ERD & etc., is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman & etc., is advantageous.
  • Project management certifications in PMP, CITPM or Prince2 will be an advantage
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and have an insatiable passion to explore for new IT technologies. Strong business acumen to understand and work with business stakeholders within and outside of the organization.
  • Analytical with high clarity in thoughts and thinking process with passion in discovering and solving complicated problems within a complex environment.
  • Self-motivated, highly driven and proactive individual who can work independently to deliver results.
  • Self-starter with an analytical and continually curious mindset to learn more, motivated to “make lives better” for all stakeholders and passengers.
  • Strong team player and possess sense of responsibility to lead and motivate project team/ consultant/ contractors.
  • Good communication, verbal, written and presentation skills to effectively describe and demonstrate proposed solutions/ideas to internal and external stakeholders​.

 

This position is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
