Title: Project Manager (Building Mechanical Systems)
Job Description
You will be part of the team responsible for managing the planning, procurement and execution of assigned building construction packages in Terminal 5 development. This role serves as the key interface between consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, safely, within budget and of the highest quality standard.
The successful candidate will work closely with the team consultants and contractors to ensure code and regulatory compliance, quality, reliability, resiliency, efficiency, and maintainability of the system. The candidate shall work with multi-disciplinary stakeholders, managing, coordinating, and interfacing for construction implementation to ensure construction is carried out safely, within budget and schedule, to meet the highest quality standards.
Requirements
- Good degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant working experience in the planning and project management of mechanical systems for building services.
- Proven track record in delivering large scale building or infrastructure construction packages.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
- Excellent coordination, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple building services packages simultaneously with attention to detail and proactive problem solving.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, driven, assertive and analytical.
- Able to work independently to deliver results and have good project management skills.
- Good team player and able to handle fast-paced projects.
This position is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
