Title:  Engineer/Senior/Principal Engineer, CAPE

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, analyse, design and deliver civil and structural engineering projects for airport and infrastructure developments.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, design specifications, drawings, tender documents, and project-specific technical requirements.
• Carry out structural analysis and design for buildings, civil infrastructure, and airport-related facilities.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, clients, and stakeholders throughout project implementation.
• Manage project deliverables to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely completion.
• Liaise with local authorities and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
• Perform engineering support during construction, including site supervision, inspections, technical reviews, and resolution of site issues.
• Ensure all engineering works comply with applicable statutory requirements, codes of practice, regulations, and industry standards.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports to internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff.
• Support project management activities, including contract administration, coordination, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil & Structural Engineering from a university recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore.
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Singapore or actively pursuing PE registration will be an advantage.
• Candidates with greater experience may be considered for Senior Engineer or Principal Engineer or Technical Director positions.
• Experience in civil and structural engineering design, analysis, and project delivery.
• Experience in airport, transportation, infrastructure, or large-scale development projects will be highly advantageous.
• Good knowledge of authority submission requirements, approval processes, and engineering regulations.
• Proficient in engineering design and analysis software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, Tekla, Prokon, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with CAD, BIM, and digital engineering workflows.
• Sound understanding of Eurocodes and local design standards.
• Experience in construction support, site supervision, quality control, and contract administration will be advantageous.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.

The appointment level will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant professional experience, qualifications, and competencies. 

This position is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
