Title:  Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

• The main roles for this position include planning, design and construction management of the high voltage power distribution system and electrical building services for airport development projects. 

• As part of our in-house design team, one of your key focus is to assist in the design of the airport's Airfield Lighting System (AFL) and Airfield Ground Lighting and Control and Monitoring System (AGLCMS) for our Clients as part of our consultancy services.  You will assist and guide our production team in the development and preparation of the necessary design drawings and documentations required for the calling of tender for Capex/ Opex projects in relation to AFL / ALCMS.  Knowledge on the above subject matter is not a must, as training will be carried out for the successful candidate.  Nonetheless, prior knowledge to airport AFL/ ALCMS would be an advantage.

• The successful candidate will work closely with the in-house design team and other Consultants (as necessary) to ensure code and regulatory compliance, quality, reliability, resiliency, efficiency, and maintainability of the system. The candidate shall work multi-disciplinary stakeholders, managing, coordinating, and interfacing of construction implementation to ensure design is performed in accordance to user needs/ requirements, within budget and schedule, meeting highest quality standards.

• You will, as part of our consultancy services, carry out advisory towards the procurement of spare parts and services relating to maintenance of AFL. You will also support our airfield design and master planning team in the study of system capacity and implementation of future airfield projects.

Requirements:

• Good degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in planning, design, implementation and project management of high voltage electrical power distribution systems and building services for large scale infrastructure or commercial development.
• Good experience in planning, design and implementation of high voltage electrical substation and distribution system
• Experience in power monitoring and control system for electrical systems will be an advantage 
• Good knowledge of the design codes and standards for M&E systems
• Self-motivated, driven, assertive and analytical
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to understand and develop technical drawings, specs & requirements
• Able to work independently to deliver results and have good project management skills.
• Good Team Player and able to handle fast paced projects

This position is a 3-year contract with possibility of renewal.
