Title: Senior Manager / Associate General Manager, IT Business Partner and IT Portfolio
Changi Airport Group (CAG) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager / Associate General Manager to join our team. This role presents a unique opportunity to lead and drive digital transformation initiatives while ensuring strategic IT investments are optimised for operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
This position encompasses two primary areas of responsibility:
- IT Business Partner (80%) – Lead a team in supporting business units’ innovation initiatives, with a focus on enhancing airport efficiency, productivity, operational excellence, and HR transformation.
- IT Portfolio Management (20%) – Oversee IT budget management, conduct expenditure analysis, and drive cost optimisation efforts.
IT Business Partner
- Collaborate with business units to identify and support technology-driven innovation initiatives.
- Analyse strategic business and technical requirements to ensure alignment between IT and corporate objectives.
- Develop solution architectures and product roadmaps, ensuring interoperability within the IT ecosystem.
- Work closely with stakeholders to facilitate MVP trials, including deployment, testing, and validation.
- Stay abreast of emerging technology trends and engaging vendors to assess the suitability of new solutions.
- Assist IT leadership in developing annual work and resource plans.
IT Portfolio Management
- Manage enterprise-wide IT expenditure in alignment with corporate financial goals.
- Partner with Finance to review and optimise the annual IT budget.
- Conduct quarterly reviews with division heads to assess IT spending and budget accuracy.
- Consolidate and approve divisional budget requests.
- Provide guidance on procurement strategies and compliance with relevant policies.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of leadership, business acumen, and technical expertise, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive strategic outcomes.
Requirements:
- A degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience.
- Experience in budget management is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with financial reporting and accounting knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across divisions.
- Detail-oriented, independent, and hands-on approach to work.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- Experience in procurement policies and process optimization is an advantage.
