This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to contribute to the growth of Changi Airport Group and the development of Singapore Changi Airport. 

You will be part of the team in Pricing & Commercial Strategy Division within the Commercial Cluster. Amongst other responsibilities, the team works across Changi Airport Group to generate robust, actionable, and timely insights on internal and external business trends to guide management decision-making. You will be required to manage a team of 2 Data Analysts in the team to fulfil the following duties and responsibilities:

Data Analysis

  • Guide the team to conduct revenue & sales data deep-dives to better understand our business performance and identify growth opportunities. (Eg Chinese, Indian and Indonesian nationality and sector sales analysis)
  • Guide the team to conduct deep dive customer data analysis, including both spend and digital behaviors, to improve customer lifetime value, which includes segmenting customers based on their spend and digital behaviors to enable a more targeted marketing efforts and personalized experiences.
  • Support Commercial marketing teams to analyze data obtained from marketing experiments and provide insights to help guide optimize the next marketing experiments.
  • Expand on existing data analysis methodologies or new data insights to deepen understanding of our business. 

Strategic Planning

  • Support the formulation of Commercial’s strategy, based on clear issue framing and rigorous analyses across strategic, operating, financial and industry data/trends.
  • Craft compelling narratives from strategic plans, research insights, and ongoing initiatives for presentation to various management and external stakeholders.
  • Support steering/coordination efforts across Commercial Cluster to cultivate and communicate our strategic priorities. 
  • Deliver sharp & robust consumer research insights by triangulating from a range of qualitative & quantitative methodologies (e.g. Commercial surveys, country specific focus group discussions (eg China, India, Indonesia), secondary data, etc.)

Requirements

  • Degree Holder with at least 7 years of relevant experience in data analytics/reporting, strategic planning, or market research preferred
  • Experience in managing a team of data / strategy analyst.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and / or other similar data analysis software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI). Advantageous to be well versed with programming tools (e.g. Python, SQL)
  • Excellent management presentation and written communication skills; strong in critical thinking, problem-solving, and with attention to detail
