Title: Senior Associate/ Assistant Manager, Safety Management
As part of the Changi East Safety function, you will join the team responsible for ensuring that construction works and related activities are conducted safely in compliance with aerodrome safety, workplace safety & health (WSH) and site operations compliance and requirements. The team ensures safety by leveraging various means, ranging from culture promulgation to the development and deployment of digital interventions.
Job Description:
- Assist in development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of digital tools and applications for safety management.
- Conduct training and onboarding of users on safety digital tools/applications, ensuring smooth adoption and effective use.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies in safety management and collaborate with stakeholders through focus groups to enhance safety analytics and tools.
- Assist in the coordination of safety working committee meetings, including gathering and analysing safety data, preparing meeting agendas, taking meeting minutes, and follow up with stakeholders to ensure actions arising from committee meetings are closed out effectively and in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other documentation related to safety processes and tools.
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field).
- Experience or coursework in digital tools and technologies such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar software for dashboard design and data visualisation is preferred.
- Knowledge in setting up digital pipelines, managing data flow, and using cloud-based tools is desirable (preferably with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their applications in data analysis and reporting).
- Knowledge of construction safety standards, regulations, and practices (ISO45001, WSH Act and Regulations, etc.). Registration as a safety professional with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) is a plus.
- Highly organised with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment to manage multiple tasks, stakeholders and meet deadlines.
