This is a permanent position where the accepted candidate will work on digitalising airport operations systems alongside Technology and Innovation teams. The candidate will also work closely with CAG appointed vendors to manage technology solutions from implementation through to system operationalisation and maintenance.

 

We are looking for an Airport Operations Technology & Transformation Senior Associate passionate about driving process improvement and technology adoption to enhance airport operational efficiency by means of transforming existing complex airport operational systems. The accepted candidate will have the opportunity to lead these projects that contribute to strategic airport development goals and receive on-job training of aviation specific business processes from airport professionals that will support his/her role in managing and implementing the systems under his/her care.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and work closely with CAG appointed vendors, internal cross-functional business teams and external stakeholders to comprehend business needs and translate them into technical system requirements

  • Conduct and be engaged in user research through design thinking workshops to identify business needs and redesign existing concept of operations.

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate adoption of new processes and systems.

  • Monitor and track progress of transformation projects by means of providing regular updates to senior management.

  • Propose, design and refine solutions and system architecture, and perform technical feasibility assessment/evaluation of suitability and applicability of technology solutions for each system under his/her care.

  • Take charge of procurement and implementation of these systems in compliance to enterprise-wide governance standards.

  • Work with CAG appointed vendors to manage 24/7 operational issues when the systems progress to their respective post go-live maintenance phases, from incident discovery, troubleshooting to eventual issue closure.

 

Requirements:

  • A good Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Systems Engineering or a relevant field of study. Candidates with a strong Diploma in similar fields of study with relevant working experience may also apply.

  • Some experience in related technical, operations management, process improvement and/or business transformation roles will be beneficial.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in implementing and maintaining on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

  • Comfortable with having to manage 24/7 operations yet also with a preference for a fast-paced, challenging and rewarding environment.

  • High performing and able to work in both high-autonomy environments as well as being a collaborative team-player when the situation calls for it.

  • Possession of a curious mind and a positive attitude towards learning.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and project management skills to effectively lead and execute multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail for the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Candidates who possess the following relevant certifications and/or experience will be preferred: IT Service Management (ITSM), Agile Methodologies, Scrum Product Owner, DevSecOps, AWS Solution Architect or equivalent, and show of being cognizant of cyber security industry best practices with passion and interest in the aviation industry and airport operations.
