Title: Manager, Projects & Development
We are looking for motivated and energetic individual who will be part of Changi Airport Group (CAG) Engineering & Development Cluster’s Master Planning & Development team, whose function is to proactively manage and deliver new airport landside development, infrastructure and/or terminal facilities to enhance capacity and passenger experience. You are required to coordinate processes and work closely with internal and external stakeholders and business partners to achieve a common objective of delivering the project with best desired outcome safely, on time, within budget and with good quality for CAG.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for planning, procurement, execution and closure of a project.
- Work with internal and external stakeholder to define project goals or objectives, scope, deliverables, deadlines and budget.
- Plan and organise budget based on scope and requirements and track costs to deliver project within budget.
- Prepare a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities.
- Manage delivery of project according to this plan.
- Track and monitor project schedule and provide regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks which may impact successful delivery of projects.
- Manage relationship and communication with business partners and all stakeholders to keep the project aligned with its goals.
- Manage procurement of consultants and contractors and drive the team for a common objective with best outcome.
- Monitor contractors’ works on safety/health/environmental compliance and airport requirement compliance.
- Ensure woks execution are accordance with authorities / statutory requirements and contract specific conditions.
- Ensure good quality control/workmanship throughout project implementation to achieve desired standard for CAG.
- Engage in transformative efforts to achieve organisational innovation initiatives while connecting with employees and customers in collaborative and purpose-driven ways.
Requirements:
- Good degree in Engineering/Architecture/Quantity Surveyor
- Minimum 6 years working experience related to engineering.
- Relevant work experience in live operation A&A will have an added advantage.
- Familiar with ISO9000 and ISO14000
- Innovative, creative and with good analytical thinking ability, qualitative/quantitative and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good team player, self-motivated with strong ability to multi-task and able to handle fast-paced projects.
- This is a 3-year contract position
