As part of the Ground Operations team, you will play a key role in transforming airport operations through technology and innovation. You will develop and execute Ground Operatations' technology roadmap, translating operational challenges into scalable solutions that improve efficiency, service performance, resilience and customer experience.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, technology partners, and external agencies, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of transformation initiatives. This includes overseeing the lifecycle of operational systems, ensuring solutions are aligned with business objectives and deliver operational value, champion change management initiatives and driving user adoption to successfully transform operational processes and enhance airport performance.
In addition, as a member of the Ground Operations leadership team, you will maintain a strong understanding of live operations and provide operational leadership coverage and support. This includes providing strategic direction to shift managers, oversee higher-order service recovery efforts, validate operational decisions during incidents, and ensure response strategies are aligned with organisational objectives. This role requires someone who can bridge operational realities and technology solutions, ensuring innovation translates into measurable operational value and outcomes.

Requirements

Degree in Aviation, Aerospace, Information Systems, Business or a related discipline.
- Proven experience leading technology, digitalisation, automation or transformation initiatives within a complex operational environment.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across operations, technology teams and external partners.

Demonstrated ability to translate business challenges into practical technology enabled solutions.

Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills, particularly in fast paced operational environments.

Experience in airport operations, aviation, transportation or other 24/7 mission critical operations environments will be an advantage
