Title: High-Level Control Manager (Baggage Handling System)
Changi Airport Group is on the lookout for a dynamic and innovative professional to take on the role of High-Level Control Manager for our Baggage Handling System (BHS). This essential position ensures the smooth processing and timely delivery of passenger baggage, a critical component of our operations. As the key overseer of the High-Level Control (HLC) system, you will be instrumental in maintaining its peak performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the BHS Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contractor to ensure the HLC system operates at optimal levels, achieving high availability and adhering to cybersecurity standards.
- Analyze system data and use analytics tools to identify potential risks and performance issues, and develop strategies for improvement.
- Lead and manage trials and projects aimed at enhancing the BHS HLC system through the adoption of advanced technologies.
- Diagnose and resolve network and software issues efficiently, conducting thorough investigations to prevent future problems.
- Oversee the end-of-service (EOS) and end-of-life (EOL) of software and hardware, ensuring timely upgrades and replacements.
- Define project requirements, procure resources, and manage system innovation and improvement projects, including Site Acceptance Testing.
- Implement the Business Continuity Plan in response to BHS failures, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Work with BHS O&M contractors and cybersecurity consultants to ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations and the Cybersecurity Code of Practice.
- Maintain adherence to ISO 27001 and the Critical IT Infrastructure (CII) Code of Practice, including conducting annual vulnerability assessments and managing associated risks.
- Foster strong relationships with authorities, external agencies, consultants, vendors, and Changi Airport Group stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years managing enterprise-level IT networks, with relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
Skills:
- Expertise in IT network infrastructure and security solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and computer hardware systems.
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools and project management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools is advantageous.
Due to the specialised nature of the roles and training investment in AES officers and Airside Professional Shift Team (APST) as well as the project development nature of Changi East Development Cluster, any cross-cluster applications that could result in CAG bearing additional cost due to such rotations will be deliberated and considered on a case-by-case basis.
