Changi Airport Group is part of the inter-agency team developing Changi East, which encompasses the future Terminal 5 - set to be one of the largest airport terminals in the world. Changi Airport Group welcomes you to join the team helping to shape Singapore's aviation future.

 

Your role as the architecture lead for the Terminal 5 Design Management team will require you to provide architectural leadership from design through delivery on this complex, multi‑disciplinary mega‑project while upholding a long‑term passenger experience vision. You will drive design development, ensuring continued refinement and maturity of design intent across all phases of this long‑horizon programme and also champion excellence in experiential spaces and interior design e.g. materiality in a passenger-centric environment.

 

You will be expected to lead a multi-disciplinary design management team to set technical standards and architectural direction across design and construction phases, while overseeing and challenging design deliverables to ensure quality, buildability, safety and long‑term performance. You must also be able to drive cross‑disciplinary integration across architecture, engineering, airport systems and operations. As a team lead, you are also expected to provide technical leadership and to mentor the team to build strong in‑house capability.

 

Requirements:

  • A good degree in Engineering, Architecture or related discipline
  • At least 20 years of relevant experience which should include large-scale infrastructure or complex development projects
  • Strong track record in design management, systems integration and senior technical leadership
  • Proven ability to sustain design excellence and intent over long project lifecycles and multiple delivery stages
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in multi-stakeholder complex environments
  • Able to engage with and influence senior stakeholders  
  • Self-driven leader who can lead high-performing teams to deliver outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and presentation
  • This is a contract position
