Changi Airport Group is part of the inter-agency team developing Changi East, which encompasses Changi Airport’s future Terminal 5. We welcome you to join us today as part of the team shaping Singapore's aviation future.

As the lead of interface management for this mega programme, your role will require you to drive the process of identifying and managing the complex interface dependencies between the many stakeholders in the programme. You will map the direction for and manage the interfacing team to deliver the following: 

  1. Engage stakeholders, both internal (Project Directors, Superintending Officers) and external (e.g. government agencies etc) to facilitate progress of works.
  2. Engage key personnel of project / design management teams to refine and clarify design intent and construction details to facilitate progress of works by the respective construction packages.
  3. Resolve internal conflicts in a fair and reasonable manner.
  4. Support any contractual counter-claims.
  5. Implement and refine planning requirements related to site management and construction logistics across the construction packages.

 The successful candidate must have strong technical knowledge, specifically in Primavera P6 with experience in the following:

  1. Procurement/ Maintenance of licenses for software (Preferred)
  2. Establish of a programme (work breakdown structure, activities, duration, logic links)
  3. Progress update
  4. Delay analysis

 

Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Project and BIM (4D) would be preferred.

 

Requirements:

  • A good degree in Construction or a related degree
  • Minimum 20 years experience in construction and/or development projects, preferably having worked in mega construction programmes (building, infrastructure, rails) that comprise multiple packages and complex interfaces, requiring identification and resolution of interfacing challenges.
  • Well-versed in Public Sector Conditions of Contract, contract management, design management, and relevant legislation.

  • Experienced in dealings with the authorities and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with arbitration, mediation and dispute resolution pertaining to EOTs and VOs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • A proven leader who is motivated, and good at multi-tasking
  • This is a contract position
