Title: Assistant Manager / Senior Associate, Airside Management (Digital Airside & Space Strategy)

You will have the opportunity to drive meaningful change through automated vehicles licensing and governance, innovative space planning, vehicle movement strategies, and safety initiatives, working with diverse teams and stakeholders across the airport community.
You will lead governance frameworks, optimise airside space strategy, and implement cutting-edge AV evaluation programmes to enhance safety, efficiency, and operational performance across the airport.
Key Responsibilities:
Autonomous Vehicle Governance & Regulation
- Shape and advance AV regulatory frameworks to ensure safe integration within the airside ecosystem.
- Design, implement, and continuously enhance AV registration and licensing frameworks that set industry benchmarks.
- Develop and oversee competency and compliance frameworks for AV operators and stakeholders.
- Drive rigorous AV evaluation and airport-centric assessment programmes, testing emerging technologies against operational requirements.
Airside Space Planning & Optimisation
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of airside space utilisation and vehicle flow patterns to identify optimisation opportunities.
- Develop strategic proposals to improve layout efficiency, congestion mitigation, and operational safety.
- Incorporate clearance requirements, routing logic, hazard mitigation, and visibility considerations into innovative design solutions.
- Oversee allocation and management of airside vehicle parking to minimise obstruction risks and maximise operational flow.
Operational Implementation & Stakeholder Management
- Lead the rollout of approved airside optimisation and safety improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate closely with ground handlers, airport partners, regulators, and internal stakeholders to ensure safe and effective project implementation.
- Balance operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and safety standards in all strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- Good degree in any discipline, preferably at least 2 years of relevant working experience. Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply.
- Able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to all levels and different stakeholders.
- Good communication, written and presentation skills.
