As a key member of our Counter-UAS team, you will collaborate closely with governmental bodies, external partners, technical experts, vendors, and internal stakeholders to oversee the project management, operation, and maintenance of our cutting-edge C-UAS systems deployed at Singapore Changi Airport. Your responsibilities will span from tender evaluation and system installation to testing, commissioning, and handover, ensuring seamless project implementation.

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to policy development, enhance operating procedures, and strategize maintenance initiatives to optimize system availability. Your efforts will directly contribute to fortifying Changi's aviation space, mitigating potential risks to aircraft safety, and ensuring uninterrupted flight operations. Additionally, you will engage in collaborative efforts with regulatory authorities, vendors, OEMs, and maintenance contractors to uphold system reliability and meet stringent regulatory standards. Your involvement in continuous improvement projects will further bolster our core competencies and enhance the capabilities of our C-UAS systems.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management and maintenance activities for Counter-UAS systems at Changi Airport.

  • Assist in procurement tender evaluation, system installation, testing, and commissioning.

  • Foster technical capability and knowledge development within the Counter-UAS team.

  • Drive initiatives to enhance system planning, development, and implementation.

  • Ensure system reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness throughout project lifecycle.

  • Spearhead digitization and innovation efforts within the C-UAS domain.

  • Facilitate technical discussions and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Oversee vendor management to uphold system performance standards.

  • Conduct safety assessment reviews for new system deployments.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computing, Telecommunication, or equivalent.

  • Proficiency in drone detection sensors, effector technologies, and frequency spectrum communication.

  • Preferably 3 years of experience in Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) and Counter-UAS systems.

  • Aviation industry experience is a plus.

  • Ability to remain calm and resolve unforeseen challenges.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.

  • Proficient in project management, collaboration, and coordination.

  • Demonstrated presentation skills.

  • Willingness to perform night duties as required for project activities.
