You will be a key member of the Business Development Team and will expand and grow the category. Your core responsibilities with be in Category Management to achieve various growth segments in the assigned categories. You will be heavily supported by the marketing and operations team to grow your categories. 

Responsibilities: 

1. Merchant Acquisition 

• Lead merchant acquisition efforts including prospecting, negotiating and development of necessary promotions 
• Own merchant onboarding up to point of contracting and / or renewals, before handing over to the Operations Team for on-boarding ops and day-to-day support 

2. Account Management 

• In charge of sales targets of merchants under your care and is the primary contact for your merchants. 
• Continually review performance of your merchants, work with them to strategically conceive new business ideas to grow sales which may include range expansion, marketing, partnerships etc. 
• Maintain good relationship and provide value add to your partners for long term collaboration. 

3. Business and Operations 

• Responsible for merchant level performance analysis and supporting monthly business reporting activities. 
• Resolve any merchant operations issues related to publication, orders, logistics and payments in a timely and effective manner 
• Work cross function with internal stakeholders and other departments to drive sales growth 

4. Profitability 

• Responsible for merchants CM  
• Drive sales through any new ideas

• Product Range Expansion 
• First-to-Launch or Exclusive Brands / Products / Concepts introduced 
• Merchant Satisfaction 
• New Business Development Ideas & Implementations 

Requirements: 

• Degree Holder with at least 4-6 years of relevant experience 
• Merchandising, eCommerce and / or marketplace experience is necessary 
• Strong industry networks and contacts in the relevant industry will be preferred 
• Good communication skills, both written and presentation
