Title: Assistant Manager, Business Analyst (iShopChangi)
We are looking for a passionate and self-driven Business Analyst (Assistant Manager) to join our dynamic team within Changi Airport’s eCommerce business – iShopChangi. In this role, you will transform data into actionable insights through market research, customer analytics, and sales performance evaluation — directly shaping strategies that drive business growth and enhance customer experience.
You will be part of a high-impact, cross-functional team that collaborates closely with Marketing, Sales, and Commercial stakeholders to uncover opportunities, solve complex problems, and deliver data-driven recommendations that influence key business decisions.Shape
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market and customer analysis to identify product trends, opportunities, and behavioural insights that drive commercial impact.
- Perform sales and performance analysis to support business reviews, campaign evaluations, and forecasting.
- Generate Monthly Business Review reports and performance dashboards for the management team to facilitate strategic discussions and decisions.
- Build dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and readiness for analysis.
- Partner cross-functionally with business teams to define problems, prioritize projects, and deliver actionable insights.
- Continuously improve reporting processes, metrics definitions, and analytical frameworks to enhance business understanding.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
- At least 3 years of working experience in business analytics, consulting, or related analytical roles.
- Strong business acumen with ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
- Experience using Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and strong proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus; experience with statistical modelling techniques (e.g. regression, clustering, forecasting) is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
