Title:  Assistant Manager, Airside Operations Control

Requisition ID:  6942
Country:  SG
Work Schedule:  Non-Shift Work Schedule
Employment Type:  Permanent
Description:

We’re looking for motivated and passionate individuals who aspire to make a positive impact in the aviation industry. As part of our team, you’ll ensure that airside operations—covering aircraft movements and handling on the apron, taxiways and runways—are carried out safely and seamlessly around the clock.

This is a hands-on and dynamic role where you will take ownership of a portfolio of operations and see projects through from conceptualisation to planning, procurement and execution. Your portfolio may include gate capacity planning, efficiency & safety performance management, remote bussing operations, runway closure programmes, new capabilities development and business continuity planning.

Success in this role requires more than operational know-how. You will need to apply systems thinking—seeing the big picture, understanding interdependencies, and anticipating how changes in one area impact the wider ecosystem. This means working hand-in-hand with our airside professional shift team and other airside partners, to drive operational excellence and seek continuous improvement.

Beyond day-to-day operations, you’ll engage with a wide range of stakeholders—airlines, ground handlers, air traffic controllers, regulators, and fellow CAG teams. You’ll need to balance diverse perspectives, align priorities, and make tough trade-offs.

We’re looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced, high-staked environment—those who take initiative, embrace challenges, and push for results. If you have a proactive mindset, a problem-solver’s attitude, and the drive to step outside your comfort zone, this is the place for you.

What You’ll Need:

  • A good diploma or degree in any discipline; at least 5 years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Strong ability to connect the dots, identify cause-and-effect relationships, and anticipate unintended consequences
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks independently in a fast-moving environment
  • Resilience and drive to deliver under pressure and tight timelines
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Experience in airside or airport operations is an advantage, but not a must
